Earthquakes are one of the top ten natural disasters and cause the most severe losses, bringing destruction and devastation to society and people. Currently, earthquake prediction remains an unsolved scientific problem for humanity. However, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council attach great importance to earthquake prediction work. Chinese seismological workers have accumulated rich and valuable experience in successful earthquake predictions through over 30 years of relentless efforts.
